Very Quick Update

No pressure, though. ;-)

Happy Tuesday, friends!  I was set to cover an all-day hearing for another judge today, but they reached an agreement, so the hearing was stricken - hooray!  I had a super productive day yesterday and hope to do the same today, but I'm giving myself 20 minutes to get on and write just because it's good for my soul. lol

As of last week, I am in three CCU courses for seven weeks.  (I've had two at a time max up to this point).  I'm learning as we go that being FULLY COMMITTED makes a huge difference in my attitude... there's an inner fire and a determined sense of belief in myself that's new and exciting and fun, and it's helping with the CCU program and the no-sweets-for-Lent and the full year of WW tracking goals!  These things are challenging, but not impossible, and really believing that I will finish and accomplish the goal someday makes a huge difference... I've set so many goals in the past where I didn't really believe I was capable of following through, and the "limiting belief" made it much easier to give up and take it less seriously.  Anyway, yay for progress.  Praying I hold firmly to Jesus and to the growing belief that my God-ordained purpose is worth these small sacrifices!!

I'm eating at home a lot more as I'm on WW, and I'm feeling better and back in a good groove with working out!  This two-for-one Peloton ride with Cody and Leann was fun times!  Different personalities and tastes, but they are both delightful people who exude joyful energy!

Fruit is free on WW, and it's the only "sweet" thing I'm allowing myself for the period of Lent, so three cheers for bananas, clementines, mini apples, and grapes!!

I took my first walk at Veteran's Park last weekend (the closest park to my house).  Not as great as the Station because a creek isn't as pretty as a lake, but I loved seeing all the monuments and memorial statues honoring the veterans from various wars!

This probably doesn't look all that appetizing, but I made Pioneer Woman chili (a long-time favorite of mine) but using ground turkey (free on WW) instead of ground beef for the first time, and I'm very pleased to say that it's fantastic!  The cheese topping is more points than the bowl of chili - dumb, but worth it.  Perhaps next year, I'll give up dairy for Lent.  It would be a huge challenge for me!

Other than workouts and WW tracking (as Chet says, that's a second full-time job)... it's been working hard to stay on top of things at work and school, aiming to finish by Saturday so that I have a real sabbath rest day on Sunday!

I'm thankful for FBC Moore and Pastor Blount, and it makes me happy that his sermon notes were 3.5 pages of in-depth study of four verses about the narrow road to the Kingdom of God (YAY, JESUS)!!  I'm also thankful to see my closest cousin, Kristin, along with her family + Al and Hilary and baby Amelia and Charlene there most Sundays!  Here's a cute pic of Al and Amelia, whose scowl when I touched her fun velvet dress reminded me of Parker Elizabeth! lol

A couple quick memes, just for fun... this = so many adult women I've traveled with, as well! lol

Kids do seem to lose stuff all the time, and this song makes me happy!

Random, but this made me laugh... I bought these at three very different times and different places, so apparently, I have a signature shade!

And now, I've gone five minutes over my time, so I'll be done here and get back to proofreading!  Morning downtime is for transcripts, afternoon downtime is for school work and assigned reading! =)

Thanks for being here, and have a lovely day ahead!!

Song of the Week = How Far I'll Go, a Disney anthem from Moana (I've only seen that movie once, but I heard this again on a Disney-themed Peloton walk and loved it)
