My final post for today. Then buckling down for a very busy school week ahead!
Saturday, I met the Wilsons and Sarah Elizabeth for lunch at CAVA (a healthy Mediterranean restaurant). Sarah has been working the weekend shift lately, so it was super nice to get to see her on a rare Saturday off. Staying connected with this crew is intensely important to me, and I am grateful we all got to hang out and catch up on the hard things and the family chaos and the ambitious life goals and more. Sarah talked about feeling old as she's taking some college classes and tests to get into a program to pursue her doctorate. I can relate to that feeling. Chet is taking a test to get his insurance license, and he had some encouraging thoughts about how we're finding our lane and we have a lot of time left to really press into it and live fulfilling lives! Anyway, it was good for my soul to see them. ❤
In related news, Sunday was Steve's birthday (he and Triston share a birthday... as do me and Eric... as do Rachael and Nancy... as do Jace and Tate). lol Anyway, I made this happy collage for my FB post on Steve's birthday... lots of fun memories with this crew!! #thankful
I rounded out my weekend having dinner with Kristin at Fontana's, a new-to-us Italian place in Moore that reminded me of Napoli's! It was great getting to see her and catch up after a longer-than-usual stretch without seeing each other!!

And now, without further ado, some Monday memes!!
Ashley came across this sign during her travels... she wrote a poignant post about how we can't change everything, but we can always change our attitude, our thoughts, our words, our habits, and our priorities!
One of the creepiest Disney villains, but this will help me have a bit of empathy for him. lol
Side note - we had to write a paper on a character from a book or movie that we dislike, then talk about how we would cultivate empathy for them. I picked Snape. It was a fun paper to write.
I Googled this, and it's really true. As someone whose top fears include being burned or scalded, yikes to that idea.
Ha I've done this so many times on work emails! #profeshunal
Lol no specific memories of shower potions, but I did make a mud "Icee" for Rach back in the day. lol
Lol seeing as most of the adults in our family still order off the kids menu, we can probably rest easy.
Lol
Lol yay headphones!
The moodiness is real.
My first thought seeing this meme was Jefferson and Hamilton's cabinet battle about the French Revolution! lol
Ugh group texts are the worst... but yes, I'd go back and read 'em all! #fomo
That girl was me! lol (Not this year, but I've had my moments of stellar MM brackets that had zero to do with my actual basketball knowledge).
Truth.
Lol I just love David!
And that's officially it for today, friends and fam!!
Have a fantastic week ahead! ❤
