Tulips & Birthdays & Burgers

Post #2 of 3 for today.  I'm playing catch-up on the blogging front!

After returning from Tulsa on Saturday, I met the Parrish fam at the Tulip Farm in Harrah, OK.  In spite of us being at the wrong angle where the sun was behind us, we got a few fun pictures and the kids picked some lovely flowers!

Very thankful for these four. ❤

And in less important news, yay for my new pink jeans! lol

The kids picked some tulips, and Kyndal called me over to get her picture holding her basket of flowers. lol  I could not adore her more.

Sunday was Triston Michael's 16th birthday!!  I'm thankful and proud to be his aunt! ❤

He got his permit during Spring Break, so he's been practicing driving more lately! 

I joined the fam for lunch at BJs today (it was a weekend of four restaurant meals - I don't recommend it for WW tracking, but I did pretty well, all things considered).  Here's Jace Michael with his cream soda and Root Beer!  He thinks it's hilarious to pound the cups down and say "Another beer!!" (Quoting Thor in Avengers Endgame). lol

A lovely cookiecake (none for me, but that changes next weekend). =)

And finally, we've arrived at "Burgers by Jace," the up-and-coming restaurant sensation! ;-)  He really wanted to cook for all of us after learning how during spring break...

There's a wasp nest in the outdoor grill, so we had a cook-in on this grill...

The burgers and hot dogs turned out well, and he was super proud!  He asked us all to rate them, then talked about how he's gonna open a restaurant and sell them. lol

Kyndal Faith was full of witty quotes and sassy comebacks that night!  Here she is laughing at her own joke while drinking some pink Sunkist with a bendy straw. lol ❤

Mom is still recovering and not feeling great, but she joined us for celebrating T-man's birthday this weekend!  Praying that her appointment on Wednesday brings some relief and helpful change and renewed energy and strength for her!!
