I'm still in progress with my Lent prayer goal, and it's been good and helpful. My focus for the month of April is mostly physical, but with spiritual components and benefits:
- Drink more water (shooting for one gallon per day, which is 8 bottles). I drink 5-6 bottles naturally most days, so this is doable with a bit of effort!
- Get more sleep (shooting for 8 hours a night)! Specifically, be in bed around 10pm every night, then read a physical book and/or play a Peloton meditation up to 10:30... but stop the TV and social media for that 30 minutes right before going to sleep. 10pm is the cut-off.
And that's it - extra water & sleep! And limiting screen time for the sake of winding down and getting quality sleep. This will stack well with my current habits and give me more energy to finish strong on this school semester!! ❤
