What Public Service or Organization are you Grateful For?
Top 7: I'm grateful for the Police, the Fire Department, EMSA and MedFlight, the Library (specifically the Hoopla, Libby, and Audible apps), the National Parks and State Parks, our Military, and Airports (I tend to dread flying, but I LOVE people-watching and hanging out in airports).
Since this prompt is one where I don't feel the need to find pictures for each item, I'm gonna throw in a quick life update since we've just passed the halfway point of this month! =)

Here's the fam celebrating JoBug's 70th Birthday with a Cheesecake Factory Brunch - fun times!
My awesomesauce waffle, JB kissing Jace when he said he thought she was in her 50s, and Rach and K-Faith in their new matching Betsey Johnson shoes!
My happy Christmas purse from Harrods in London... I LOVE it!! ❤
A lovely tree top, and a tasty tree snack... the right pic was for Kristin, who inspired this purchase. lol
The Whitakers came over last Saturday to help hang the Christmas wreath around the moose. The boys found ways to turn my backyard into a fun play-place - I love that about kids! And they loved helping out when Mom had them Windex the furniture! =)
Nash (coming in with the Windex and some trash): She told me to put this up!
Me (figuring he was ready to be back outside): Oh, you can throw the trash away right here, and I can take that and put it up for you.
Nash, hesitantly: Ummm, she said that I could put it up. lolol
Me: Oh my goodness, for sure you can - it goes right over here! (showing him the pantry)
Nash (looking all around): Wow, you have a lot of stuff, but you don't even have that many snacks!! lol
Me: That's a true story! Sorry about that.
Nash: What's in your fridge!?
Me: Probably more disappointment. lol

One of Jill's pictures from their trip to Bryce Canyon National Park in Utah - it's now on my list of places to see!
Me and T-man hanging out and having a "Spooky Pizookie" at BJ's a few weeks back (just after Halloween).
My neighbor's sweet Australian Shepherd dog -- her name is Jenks (probably spelled Jinx, but I'm going with my old hometown) -- she got out of her yard then chased some geese into our very red neighborhood pond, so she was all wet and muddy, but I still couldn't leave her alone when I saw her out and looking scared. I pulled over and finally got her to come to me (without jumping on me, thankfully), then called her owners and alerted them and waited a while to make sure she was safe. I was a few minutes late for work, but it was worth it - and very reminiscent of helping Laynie in 2015. =)
Someone made several "if Harry Potter were a Pixar film" photos... and now I very much want them to make the Pixar version!!
Jace Michael's last football game with this Westmore team last Tuesday. (He's in the center of the crowd with Rach and Josh). *Also, he's having his tonsils removed tomorrow, so prayers appreciated for a smooth surgery and recovery for him there!!
Kristin and I had lunch at Swadley's on Friday, randomly running into Al while we were there! I was off for the Veteran's Day holiday, so we got to take our time and hang out a while!
Jon Foster's birthday was November 5th - very grateful for his improvement and continuing to pray for full recovery!!
The Wilson fam just returned from another Disney World trip... where Tate-the-Great lost his first tooth and Tinker Bell gave him $5! Exciting times!! =)
Thanks to Melanie on the Big Boo podcast, I bought this slightly ridiculous neck and shoulder heating pad. I'm a fan! =)
Ending with a few memes since it's been a while. Somehow this thought had never occurred to me with Daylight Savings Time, but it definitely made me laugh!
Aww, memories! lol Princess and Erin were two of my favorites in Rachael's massive beanie baby collection.
Thissss would so be me... I laughed out loud when Chet sent this one! =)
Mmkay, that's all for now. I wish you love and light and a very happy Thursday!
❤
