Hi, friends! Busy work week, and I'm attempting to go to bed early tonight after a few late nights in a row. So this will just be a quick photo-frenzy post with all the latest pictures and captions...
Double digits - the Miss K turned 10 yesterday, and I made this 10-photo collage to celebrate her awesomeness!
Family lunch at Ted's in Edmond on Sunday!
Selfie group pic by Jace
The worst cake of Rachael's life (a white chocolate cake by Ted's) + JoBug volunteering to opera-sing Happy Birthday to Kyndal!
We ran into Amy from CCU on our way out - yay!
Random meme I saved that applies for Kyndal and for me this week! =)
Kyndal's birthday was really a 5-part extravaganza this year, ending with a late spaghetti dinner + cookiecake + a night swim with T-Swift playing in the background! =)
This happened this weekend... YAY - meet Ruby 8.0, as Chet coined her! lol I'm so very happy about the red - Gryffindor trumps Slytherin every day! lol ...I'll be thinking of a good name for it. The interior color is called "caramel," so maybe something focused on that. Or just Lexi 2.0. And Ginny the Genesis will have a good home with T-man when he gets his license a month from today!!
Dad's secretaries got him this shirt with all their faces on it. lol
A really kind attorney got me a gift card to Neighborhood JAM for my taxing journey of walking his motion down 3 flights of stairs. lol Mom and I made good use of it yesterday... YUM! Today marks day one of being officially off sweets from now to October 15th... it makes WW so much easier and takes out the mental games of "just one more bite" for me. Plus I won't miss any major events during that time. =)
Last weekend, Mom and Triston and I made the road trip to Perry, OK to watch Carter compete in the rodeo! His chute dogging event lasted literally 11 seconds after an hour drive to get there, but I'm happy we got to see him and support him - it was fun! Then I got some fun heart glasses pics with J&K when we brought T-man home and stayed longer than we intended to. lol
Mamaw and Carter - Mom has so many rodeo and horse show memories... and as she talks about them, I could hear Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake singing "We lead two different lives... two different liiiiives!" lol Mom and I had *very* different childhoods, but both were good, and that's something to be thankful for! In other news, it was neon night at the rodeo, so Carter went all out with the fun shirt!
A flashback memory of Jace Michael five years ago at Grand Lake - trying to get some sympathy for his chin wound, but not able to hold a sad face for the photo. lol Cuteness!
Truth. And why I must go to bed ASAP after publishing this.
Oh, how I wish it was $250 a ticket... I would snap those up so fast for me, Kyndal, and Triston!! It's currently averaging $1000 per ticket for the nosebleed and obstructed-view seats. Kudos to T-Swift, but wow!
Me right now. lol
What I want Jace to be for Halloween. lol He would pull it off and it would make me laugh.
I still strongly dislike the word "chuckle," but this kid's drawing did make me laugh! Well played, sir.
Every time.
Good night, and happy Wed-nes-day to you tomorrow, friends!!
