Photo Friday!!

Happy Friday, my friends!!
So many pictures lately - but I guess that's pretty much always true for me. lol
Here's the latest memories and memes. =)

Yes - reminding myself of this truth lately!

The kids had their first day back to school on Wednesday!  Rach and Kyndal wore matchy fun fringe skirts - cuteness!  (*Side note - T's hair was still wet after showering here.)

Jaceman got a buzz-cut after his friend got one, and he is not a fan... I like it somewhere between this and the fro-perm, but he has the personality to make it work either way. lol  Here's him and his teacher, Mrs. Husted!  Jace is a natural leader and a strong extrovert, and I pray that he connects with good and Godly men who will help shape his perspective, his character, and his future in positive ways!  I also hope and pray that he has a great 5th grade year ahead!! ❤

Carter Lee by the CHA bricks... Jace on the mailbox... and Kyndal Faith in their driveway!

A resilient human being... Miss Kyndal Faith really wanted Mrs. Brumfield as her teacher and was excited to be in her class... then she found out via group text that her close circle of friends were all in the other class, and she felt that deeply and was super disappointed as they were all celebrating being together (texting amplifies that stuff in a way we didn't have to deal with when I was her age).  Relationships are so important to her, and it's  become obvious to me that the enemy targets her heart there and comes in extra strong with something relationally toxic and/or painful on or around her birthdays over the past few years.  Not okay.  Praying for her spiritual protection, inner resilience, healthy relationships, and self-worth and a growing sense of identity in Christ!!  Anyway, after letting herself feel the sadness and frustration there, she decided to make the best of this year ahead, telling me "I'm excited for school to start - it's gonna be a great year!" And she created an awesome sign as a gift for her new teacher... went over and hugged all her friends, then intentionally befriended the new girl in her class... I just love seeing her resilient spirit growing stronger, and hope and pray she has a fantastic 4th grade year ahead! ❤

Off to a good start - her teacher celebrated Kyndal's birthday and had everyone sign this balloon with qualities they see in her on the first day!  She really is caring, "swaggy," kind, sparkly, funny, cool, good at volleyball, and a good friend.  Still, my favorite is the kid who wrote: "Lady GlitterSparkles LIVES ON!" lolol

My former classmates, Sarah and Lindsay (now CHA moms)!

Shifting gears, how fun is my new Betsey Johnson purse watch and purse!?  The hearts, the pink, the sparkles, the black background with fun colors bursting through, the charms... love it all!  Fun fact:  You can get 3-4 Betsey Johnson purses for the price of one Coach purse, and they are a little bigger and more solid (and better for sneaking snacks into a movie, should you choose to try that). lol  Her designs are quirky and fun and a surprisingly good fit for me on the last three purse purchases!

That purse is called the Graffiti Tote, and I immediately heard this Robin Sparkles song in my head when I read that. lol  "Put on your jelly bracelets and your cool graffiti coat!  At the mall, havin' fun is what it's all a-boat!"  lolol

Friday Flashback with Friends:  This day six years ago was the going away party for Mindi... a memorable send-off that included a pool party, pizza, intentional encouragement, and praying over her as she moved to California!

Family Flashback Friday:  The niece and nephews visiting me in Tulsa a few summers back!

One of many Barbie memes that's made me laugh lately!

Amen to this.

Believing this for my practicum experience ahead!

It's definitely interesting how the kids *do not know* a world without social media!  I'm thankful that I did.

Lol so many odd bendy poses for her.

Definitely depends who's calling for me.

This feels crazy-true from what I've seen, which does make the idea of stepping into it without a parenting partner more stressful.

Truth:

Very fast letters. lol

This one made me laugh and think of Evan, a brilliant engineer who sometimes puts his foot in his mouth in everyday conversations.

Aww, Creek County memories! lol

Haha yep.

True... avoid stereotypes and get to know the individual!

I've lived on both sides of this one.  Conflict is not easy, but I value my friendships and want to always risk the hard conversation over gradually losing the relationship!

Lol

Every time!  I also mute them. lol

This one made me laugh!

DONE!!  Have a fabulous weekend ahead! ❤
