Farmhouse Fun!

All these pieces, broken and scattered
In mercy gathered, mended and whole.
Empty-handed, but not forsaken,
I've been set free. I've been set free.
Amazing grace, how sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me.
I once was lost, but now I'm found.
Was blind, but now I see.
~Amazing Grace, Hillsong

(I was trying to make the song lyrics go with the posts, but I'm giving up on that idea now. Also, I'm writing three posts today to catch up for missing this weekend!)

Today, I'm thankful for the Wilson "Farmhouse" and all the fun we've had there (with much more to come)! =)  I like seeing my friends realize their dreams - things they've wanted and worked hard for... and I love having friendships with the "refrigerator rights" comfort level, as Pastor Craig calls it. The Wilsons have hosted our annual "Friendsgiving" dinner for several years now, and tomorrow will be the first one at the farmhouse, also breaking in the new dining table built by Gary and Chet Lee. :)  I always have fun with Chet & Co., and I'm very thankful for these friendships.  And for the cuteness and coziness of our bonfires by "The Moss Fire Pit" (at the farmhouse, paid for by JEM and Kelly)!  ...And for s'mores, obviously! lol

Karli playing worship songs on the guitar! :)

S'mores time!

Just talking and laughing together by the glow of the flickering fire. :) Makes me happy! lol

Cozy & cute!

Breaking in the fire pit that night!

Chubby bunny!

When I was shameful and weak,
You knew my secrets and gave mercy
My weary soul had no rest nor peace,
But then You came and covered me.
Oh, great, merciful God,
Safety is here in Your arms.
~Oh Great Merciful God
