Peace & Quiet

No guilt in life; no fear in death.

Today, my introvert self is thankful for peace and quiet. For the times when life slows down and you're able to just sit and read... or think... or daydream. I am thankful for the internal peace and security that can only come from knowing Christ.  Life in this world gets crazy sometimes, and the hurt and confusion and drama surrounding you can drive you crazy if you allow it in... or you can be still and know that He is God. I am choosing to be still this morning, and to focus on the God of hope and peace inside me rather than the enemy who brings chaos and discouragement around me!

Riches I heed not, nor man's empty praise.

Thou mine inheritance, now and always.

Thou and Thou only first in my heart,

High King of heaven, my treasure Thou art!
