Day 25 ~ Fascinating

Today = Someone who fascinates me and why

"The 10-dollar founding father without a father
Got a lot farther by workin' a lot harder,
By bein' a lot smarter,
By bein' a self-starter.
By 14, they placed him in charge of a trading charter..."

Here lately, thanks to Lin-Manuel Miranda, I am very fascinated by the life story of Alexander Hamilton!  I knew very little about him before this, but now I could ace a test on his life story.  I've used the word "fascinating" multiple times while talking about all this with Laura. Why?  Because he lived a complicated, nonstop, interesting life in the defining, founding years of our nation's history.  I love it when any movie or play brings history to life, and I've always been fascinated by the American Revolution!  I also love to sing and find it much easier to memorize rap/hip-hop lyrics that tell a story... "Let's raise a couple more TO THE REVOLUTION!!" ;-)

Here's the opening song in the Hamilton play.  If you have an app that's connected to your library (like Hoopla), I recommend "renting" the 46-song soundtrack! =)
