2010 ~ The 12 Days of Christmas!!

Today begins my "12 Years of Christmas Memories" countdown, just for some extra Christmas cheer and holiday fun!!  (I'll be going year-by-year, starting with 2010, and ending with this year's Christmas photos on Christmas Day!) ❤

CHRISTMAS MEMORIES 2010

That year, we did a big family road trip to Texas, where we all played a fun game of Dirty Santa (or White Elephant or Yankee Swap or whatever you call it) with the cousins and all the parents.  This was a fantastic idea for Dad's side of the family... since we could all get one bigger gift that was exciting rather than 20 $3 gifts. lol  I remember that being a fun day, and these are some of my favorite pics of the cousins, although I'm sad we're missing Kristin and Amber.  Whilst we were all hovering near the food in the kitchen, I asked Rach and Justin to smile, then he grabbed that dish towel and threw it over his shoulder and said, "So you'll always remember that this was taken at Christmas!" lolol  Mission accomplished!

That was also the year when our Diving Deeper Lifegroup hosted a fun pizza-and-presents Christmas party for the kids at Eugene Field Elementary!  (Kinda crazy to think that these kids are probably high school graduates now!)

A fun toast with cute tiny holiday cups at Starbucks with Natalie and Bobbi... my very floral wreath... Bobbi's first Christmas tree (courtesy of her roommate that year)... and a small group pic by the tree (me, James, Bobbi, Kevin, and Chet Lee).

My favorite pic of Dad with all his siblings... a cute and silly pose suggested by Nancy!  "The Muecke Bunch" = Havno, Gus, Dad, Nancy, Charlene, and Georgia! ❤

That was also the year of our December trip to NYC, my first time visiting Central Park and seeing the huge Christmas tree + standing in the middle of the iconic (dry that day) Central Park Fountain + Hershey's World fun + a memorable dinner at Serafina with Chet, Holly Dei, and Matthew!

This was back in the day when the entire friend group was on a running kick... all nine of us completed the Route 66 Half Marathon that year!  Top right = a small women's Bible study that I hosted, and the bottom pics are fun times Christmas shopping with Mom at the magical winter wonderland called North Pole City!!

*Edited to add this photo I just found from our family Christmas Eve 2010 celebration at Rachael's house... a very young Triston and Carter going through a series of presents Mom had wrapped for them and Emily! ❤

And one of Rach making our traditional Christmas morning pancake breakfast! =)

And finally, one last pic from the Texas Mueckes' Christmas Party... I can't remember if she was recovering from pink eye or what, but I know Mom couldn't wear eye makeup that day and wasn't super thrilled about it.  I still love this pic of everyone, though! ❤❤❤

And that's my quick recap of fun Christmas memories from 12 years ago!
