The Umberto's guys took Tall Kyle out for an early birthday dinner at Texas de Brazil last night... I'm a fan of this group of men, and very thankful to call them all friends! JEM texted me this "blog approved," nicely-angled photo, and that made me happy! lol
Happy Birthday to Kyle Brandon next Wednesday!!
And here's a fun pic of the guys with their adorable kids at the Tulsa Christmas Parade, where they ran into each other this morning! =)
Google Photos was kind enough to make this "then and now" pic for me, and it's two of my fav pics of me and Tiffany! =)
And speaking of strong women ;-) ...here's a couple pics from Peloton's holiday party at The Plaza in NYC! #fancy
This is going around the #BooCrew community lately, and it makes me laugh! I sincerely wish people were less moronic, but alas, Peloton's stock took a big dive in real life thanks to a ridiculous twist in a fictional TV show. It's all reminding me of the This Is Us #crockpotisinnocent scandal, another facepalm moment for America...
Spoiler alert - In the Sex & the City reboot, they apparently needed it to have a single girl feeling again (or he just wanted out of the show)... so the plot was that Carrie's husband, John James Preston, aka "Big," became a big fan of Peloton during the pandemic... then he had a heart attack and died after completing his 1,000th ride! #lamesauce And now Peloton is having to defend their products and talk about how his extravagant lifestyle probably played a role in his death, and riding the bike really gave him more time than he would have had. lolol It's all asinine and mildly entertaining to me, but I do wish they'd chosen to mess with a different company or invent a fictional one instead!
Anyway, back to real life, this is my new favorite magnet... a Christmas card/prayer reminder/announcement from Jon and Kristin as they start their adoption journey! ❤
Something helpful to remember when we feel frustrated by poor communication or unloving behavior...
And another meme I found worth saving... pushing good people away can be a trauma response to being hurt in the past, but we need community and grace and connection!
That's all for this random Saturday post. Hope your weekend is fabulous thus far!
