2016 ~ The 12 Days of Christmas!!

CHRISTMAS MEMORIES 2016

Jumping right into this because 2016 was a VERY FULL December... so many memorable parties and events that year!!

Here's Dad rocking out with Jace and Kyndal at our Christmas morning pajamas and pancakes party (and Pringles and Orange Fanta, apparently)! Makes me happy that the baby swing is blowing in the wind behind them. =)

Celebrating Laura and Dentist Gary's birthdays at the first winter of the Wilson Farmhouse, made more festive with the taco shells catching fire! lol

The beginning of Jaceman and Claire, a pre-K romance turned five-year long-distance relationship! lol

A trip to Big Cedar with Tiffany and Jenna (including Lambert's dinner and seeing Moses at Sight and Sound)!  The top right pic = the kitchen stuff Jenna packed for this two-night trip.  It was a very good thing that we were driving. lol

Mom and Dad went all out that year with decorating and hosting three big dinners... for Dad's State Farm Staff, the MWC LifeChurch staff, and a wonderful group of our family and friends!

Jaceman: "Lindsey, I love your tie!!" lol  Miss K's friendship with the metal Pistol Pete was always a delight to me.  And the pic of both of them standing by the front door excited and ready to give people their gift bags as they leave is the very cutest to me - they couldn't wait for people to leave bc that was their time to shine! lol

Bill and Jill Lemieux, Rick, Bill Wallace, Dad and Mom, Debbie Wallace, and Terri and Bob Wallace!

One of our family pics from Christmas Eve that year!  (I was at my highest weight ever that Christmas - the stress of Mom's back surgery and recovery process that summer + adjusting to a new living situation that fall was a bit overwhelming for me - but guess what?  Still loved, still kind, still worthy, still incredibly thankful for these memories and pictures.  And that's the end of my TED talk. lol)

A post-Christmas gathering at Nancy's with a fun game trying to open presents with oven mitts on!
This giant inflatable remote-controlled shark floating across the living room was pretty cool -- the kids were super excited about it that night, then it was rarely if ever used again! lol

We had Christmas Eve dinner at Santa Fe then came back to take pics and open presents at Mom and Dad's... where Mom had wrapped a huge series of gifts for each of the kids to open!

A lot of randomness here:  Jace got a walkie-talkie set and binoculars that year, and those gifts were BIG HITS!  The girlfranz reluctantly took their first outdoor walk, with the help of the Wilsons after a Pitch Perfect movie night with them + Jenna and Tyler... all memorable and entertaining!  The boys posing with their gingerbread houses (whilst K was having a mini-tantrum).  And our classic Christmas day dinner of Kraft mac n' cheese because we hadn't planned ahead well and literally every restaurant in the world was closed! lol

Celebrating Laura and Jenna's birthdays with the girls at Andolini's!  Fake ice skating pic at Big Cedar (we were in tennis shoes and got in trouble for stepping onto the rink - lol).  Cheering them to the finish line for Laura's first Full and Jenna's first Half!  And celebrating Kyle's birthday with a hot chocolate party and lots of encouragement and compliments at the Farmhouse!

Jeff and Kelly were married that fall, and I was pretty excited to meet their cute puppy, Miss Penny Moss!  We had another round of Christmas carols with the women's LG at Saint Simeon's, which included us all slowly going silent as the piano player belted out Silent Night in German because he got tired of us singing along with him. lol

Two of my fav pics from that year = this shot of Jace laughing at his own story about tricking Rach into sitting on a whoopie cushion (or a "fart machine" as he called it)... and that pic of Mamaw and Kyndal Faith watching a video in the glow of the Christmas tree lights!

Women's Lifegroup Christmas party at the Moss Manor!

And one final pic of me at the Titanic Museum during the Branson trip with Tiffany and Jenna... "ALL AHEAD FUUUUUULL!!"

This was the year of Flipagram, which is a good thing, as this particular December required three separate Flipagram slideshows and two Quotables posts!!  So trust me that I'm narrowing it down for this recap. lol

Anyway, happy Monday and happy Christmas week! ❤
